Morning Prelims went very well for us. We had several really great times. McKay King went 53.74 in his 100 m Free prelim (see video below) and made it back in the A-Bonus Final. There are a lot of college kids here and he is going to swimming against a very good field of swimmers later this afternoon/evening. Candice Smith is going in seeded 7th in the 200 m Back against a strong field of swimmers. Candice went a very fine 2:20.57. Other great swims were Taryn Toolson in the 200 Breast at 2:57.80 (LTB), Jamie Nebeker went a 2:56.03 (SB) in her 200 Breast. Matt Okelberry went a (LTB) in his 200 m Back at 2:20.26. Matt also picked up the long course cut for next years meet. In the 200 fly we had three really great swims. Kim went 2:27.21 (LTB) after going out in a 30.87/1:07.03 at the 50 and 100, TJ went 2:19.76 also picking up the long course cut in the 200 m fly after dropping nearly 6 seconds, our special guest Calvin Clark went a very fine 2:15.53 in his 200 m Fly and is sitting at 33rd right now (It is also Calvin's birthday today-HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALVIN!!!!!). Finally the women's 200 m Medley Realy team of Candice, Jamie, Kim and Taryn won their prelim heat with a great time of 2:05.48. Their splits were as follows:
